BASE-GAME FACTION RECORD
A traditional, honor-bound monarchy that values duty, chivalry, and heritage.
The frame provides its faction’s Chassis Special and Defend effect. The assigned pilot provides its own faction passive; mixing factions is allowed.
Defending recharges 50% of missing shield; if already at full shield, grants the squad's lowest-HP ally a defense buff instead.
Its attack pierces through to a second random enemy for 50% splash damage.
On a critical hit, siphons 20% of the target's current shield into this unit's own shield.
These banners favor this faction when eligible. They still share the broader base-game Scout pool.
LORE PAGE 1
The Kingdom of Aurora is a feudal society built on ancient traditions of honor, loyalty, and martial prowess. Ruled by a monarch and a council of noble houses, the Kingdom sees itself as a bastion of civilization and culture against the cold, sterile pragmatism of Horizon and the savagery of the outer clans. Their code of chivalry is both their greatest strength and their most exploitable weakness.
LORE PAGE 2
Auroran Warmachines, such as the Paladin and the Gekkou, are often works of art as much as they are instruments of war. Ornate, durable, and favoring close-quarters combat with energy blades and heavy shields, they reflect the Kingdom's focus on the individual skill and valor of the pilot, their 'knight'.
LORE PAGE 3
The Kingdom's rigid adherence to tradition has led them down dark paths. Desperate to counter Horizon's technological edge, certain elements within their command structure initiated the 'Oni Program'—a monstrous project designed to create a pilot with absolute loyalty and no hesitation, a perversion of their own code of honor. The tragic fate of Ensign Kaito is a testament to this hidden corruption.
LORE PAGE 4
Lieutenant Hikari's defection was a blow to the heart of the Kingdom's identity. As heir to a noble house, her betrayal was seen as an unforgivable stain on her family's honor. Her alliance with a Horizon pilot was an act of treason that challenged the very foundations of Auroran society.
LORE PAGE 5
The 'King's Guard' is not a single machine, but a title bestowed upon the frame that protects the monarch. Forged from alloys found only in the heart of the capital's oldest mountain, its armor is said to be unbreakable. It is the final shield, the last line of defense, the embodiment of the Kingdom's vow to endure.
