BASE-GAME FACTION RECORD
A loose confederation of independent pilots, mercenaries, and idealists.
The frame provides its faction’s Chassis Special and Defend effect. The assigned pilot provides its own faction passive; mixing factions is allowed.
The first time this unit would be knocked out, it refuses to eject instead: revives at 15% hull for 2 turns with +20% damage, but can't Defend.
Defending grants +30% evasion. If an attack against this unit misses while defending, it immediately gets a bonus action.
Instantly grants +25% evasion for 2 turns.
These banners favor this faction when eligible. They still share the broader base-game Scout pool.
LORE PAGE 1
Born from the ashes of forgotten colonies and corporate betrayals, Liberté is not a nation but an idea: that every pilot has the right to choose their own destiny. They are a chaotic but passionate faction, their ranks filled with everything from grizzled mercenaries to young idealists fleeing the rigid doctrines of the two great powers. Their strength lies in their unpredictability and the fierce loyalty they hold for one another.
LORE PAGE 2
Liberté's technology is a hodgepodge of stolen, salvaged, and heavily customized parts. A Liberté Warmachine is a reflection of its pilot—unique, often unreliable, but capable of surprising feats of brilliance. They are masters of improvisation, turning scrap into weapons and hopeless situations into victories. This resourcefulness makes them a constant thorn in the side of both the Republic and the Kingdom.
LORE PAGE 3
While they lack a formal command structure, charismatic leaders like the enigmatic Marianne have been known to rally disparate cells under a single banner for a common cause. They fight for freedom, for the forgotten, and for the simple right to exist in a galaxy that demands conformity. Their ultimate goal is not conquest, but a future where no one has to kneel to a king or a corporation.
LORE PAGE 4
The pilot known as 'Joto Rinto' and their experimental frame, the 'Apex Pilot' project, are seen by many in Liberté as a symbol of their struggle. An individual with extraordinary power, hunted by the very system that created them, who chose to fight for a cause greater than themselves. Their story is a legend whispered in the back-alley cantinas and hidden asteroid bases of the free pilots.
LORE PAGE 5
The Apex Project was a Republic failure, but in the hands of a free pilot, it became a legend. The 'Revolution' is not merely a machine; it is the physical manifestation of Liberté's will. It is a one-frame rebellion, a ghost that haunts empires, a promise that as long as one pilot is free, the war is never truly over.
