BASE-GAME FACTION RECORD
A brutal faction of outcasts and warlords who believe the old world must burn.
The frame provides its faction’s Chassis Special and Defend effect. The assigned pilot provides its own faction passive; mixing factions is allowed.
Deals 25% increased damage to enemies below 50% hull.
Guarantees a bonus damage arc to a second enemy, regardless of whether an ally already damaged the target this turn.
Defending only mitigates 20% of damage, but any hit taken while defending primes this unit's next attack to deal double damage.
These banners favor this faction when eligible. They still share the broader base-game Scout pool.
LORE PAGE 1
The Red Wolves are a nomadic, fiercely independent faction born from the lawless frontier zones. Led by the charismatic but ruthless ideologue Matsuo, they are a loose coalition of clans who believe the great powers are corrupt beyond redemption. Their philosophy is simple: burn it all down and build a new world from the ashes, a world forged in fire and ruled by the strong.
LORE PAGE 2
Their machines, like the savage Cerberus Frame and the monstrous Bahamut, are patchwork horrors of stolen and salvaged technology. They are brutally effective, prioritizing raw power and psychological terror over finesse. The Red Wolves are masters of ambush and guerrilla warfare, a constant, unpredictable threat to the supply lines and outposts of both major powers.
LORE PAGE 3
Beneath their chaotic exterior lies a cunning intelligence. Strategists like Kingu, a disgraced Horizon officer, have given the Red Wolves a tactical edge that belies their savage appearance. They are not merely raiders; they are a revolutionary force with a clear and terrifying vision for the future.
LORE PAGE 4
The Red Wolves' role as agents of chaos was solidified during the disastrous Citadel peace conference. Exploited by corporate interests and driven by their own destructive ideology, they shattered the fragile truce between the great powers. Pilots like the unhinged Tiamat became symbols of their terror, but it was Matsuo's cold, calculating vision that guided their hand. They are not simply raiders; they are a catalyst, a wildfire burning away the old world to make way for their own brutal order.
LORE PAGE 5
Ragnarok. The end of all things. It is not a machine built for conquest, but for annihilation. Powered by a volatile, scavenged core from a doomsday device, it exists only to see the galaxy burn. It is the Red Wolves' final, nihilistic promise: if they cannot have a new world, no one will have one at all.
