BASE-GAME FACTION RECORD

The Rustfang Clans

Scavengers, mechanics, and pit-fighters who thrive in the great scrapheaps of the galaxy.

Combat identity

The frame provides its faction’s Chassis Special and Defend effect. The assigned pilot provides its own faction passive; mixing factions is allowed.

Pilot passive

Scrap Patch

The instant this unit's shield is broken, patches 30% of max shield back on the spot.

Defend effect

Scrap Shielding

Defending converts 15% of max hull into an immediate shield restore - trading hull integrity for a barrier.

Chassis Special

Shrapnel Burst

Its attack also splashes onto 2 random other units in play - which can include allies.

LORE PAGE 1

Where others see wastelands of junk, the Rustfang Clans see treasure. These hardy, resourceful clans are the masters of salvage and jury-rigged engineering. Their society is built around the 'Great Scrapyard', a massive artificial moon of debris, and the fighting pits where disputes are settled and legends are made. They value strength, ingenuity, and a good explosion.

LORE PAGE 2

Rustfang machines, like the Brawler and the Behemoth, are testaments to their philosophy: bigger is better, and if it ain't broke, add more guns. Their technology is loud, dirty, and surprisingly effective, favoring heavy armor, overwhelming firepower, and brutal melee weapons.

LORE PAGE 5

The legends say a world-ending weapon fell from the stars in the old times. The Rustfang found its corpse and built a machine around its still-beating heart. The 'World Eater' is that machine. It is not merely made of scrap; it is the god of scrap, a walking apocalypse that hungers for the ruins of civilizations.
