- Lieutenant Nakamura
- I've decrypted Kingu's archive three times because I refused to believe it twice. Horizon and Aurora high command are collaborating. The war is managed.
- Lieutenant Hikari
- Managed. Taro died for a QUOTA. Asami died for a spreadsheet's margin of error.
- Lieutenant Nakamura
- The Red Wolves are the pressure valve — funded by both crowns to keep the fear alive, so the Apex and Oni programs keep their funding.
- PILOT
- Then there are no sides left to be loyal to. Just people. Everyone still in this room — that's the whole army now.
- Major Kenji
- Smallest army I've ever served in. Best one, too.
After floor 12· beat 2
- Lieutenant Akira
- Corporate registry confirms it. Shell companies feeding both programs, all clearing through Cygnus banks. Our 'Observer' friend has been invoicing the apocalypse.
- PILOT
- And they'll sell us the rope to hang their clients with, if the telemetry's good. Corporations don't have sides, just ledgers.
- Lieutenant Hikari
- Then we use the ledger. Every shipment has a route. Every route has a source. Follow the money far enough...
- Lieutenant Akira
- ...and we find the room where they decided our lives were a rounding error. I want to stand in that room.

- Lieutenant Nakamura
- The archive matches the inquiry reports. Same template, same three adjectives, same author fingerprints. The theory I would not say out loud in chapter four is now a finding.
- Major Kenji
- I gave thirty years to this uniform. Tonight I learned what it was actually buying.
After floor 3· beat 2
- Sergeant Yuki
- is everyone else as angry as I am right now or is that just me
- PILOT
- Not just you. Hold onto it. Angry means we still expect better - the day we stop being angry is the day they win.
