Mission start· beat 1
- Chief Engineer Elena
- I found the general. The Corruption's coordination signal originates from a derelict Zenith psychic amplifier. It's not a plague at all — it's a broadcast. A hive-mind on a transmitter.
- Jane Doe
- The thing that took my colony... was following ORDERS?
- Chief Engineer Elena
- Orders from something old, alien, and very patient. And Jane — if we're right, cutting the signal could free every corrupted husk still... partially alive.
- PILOT
- Then some of her people might still be in there. That's not a mission anymore, that's a rescue. Let's move.

This conversation uses an older floor number than the current mission length. It is included here for story reference; its original timing may differ from your playthrough.
- Chief Engineer Elena
- Resonance core secured. When I inverted its frequency, every corrupted unit in the sector froze mid-stride for nine full seconds. Nine seconds of silence in the hive.
- Jane Doe
- I heard them. In the freeze. Voices under the static — hundreds of them, still screaming to be let out.
- PILOT
- Jane... some of them might be too far gone.
- Jane Doe
- Then we free the ones who aren't, and we avenge the ones who are. Either way — that amplifier dies.

Mission start· beat 1
- Chief Engineer Elena
- The hive-mind signal has a heart. A resonance chamber two kilometers into the swarm territory. Kill the signal, decapitate the swarm.
- PILOT
- Two kilometers through the densest Corruption on the map.
- Jane Doe
- I have been inside a swarm bloom once before. The trick is that there is no trick. You move fast and you do not stop for anything. ANYTHING.
- Chief Engineer Elena
- Your barriers are tuned, your blades are hot, and I will be in your ears the whole way. Go.
After floor 10· beat 2
- Jane Doe
- The signal... it is not commanding the swarm. It is SCREAMING at it. The Corruption is a runaway. Something lost control of it years ago.
- PILOT
- Then who is doing the screaming?
- "Observer"
- An old colleague. Be kind to it. It has been failing at its job for a very long time.
