Mission start· beat 1
- "Nail"
- A Red Wolf clan crying for help from other Red Wolves. That's new. They used to just eat their weak and call it Tuesday.
- PILOT
- Something's changed.
- "Nail"
- Someone's changed them. There's a name going around the wreckage bars — Valerius. Calls himself a Lord Commander. Wolves don't take orders. These ones do.
- PILOT
- Then let's go meet the man teaching wolves to heel.
- "Nail"
- Ha! I like you. Try not to die — I've got money on you lasting past your first week.

This conversation uses an older floor number than the current mission length. It is included here for story reference; its original timing may differ from your playthrough.
- "Nail"
- Banner's down, clan's scattered — but this wasn't a raid, it was a lesson. Everything here got destroyed with textbook precision. Wolves don't do precision.
- PILOT
- So it's true. Someone's actually organizing the Red Wolves.
- "Nail"
- Worse. Someone's disciplining them. A warlord you can bargain with, you rob or you kill. A warlord who builds an army? That's a whole different kind of storm.
- PILOT
- Then we'd better find out who Valerius is before he finds out who we are.
