Mission start· beat 1
- Alliance Diplomat
- Three worlds turned to glass in a month. Same bombardment signature every time. The fleets call the commander responsible 'the Glassmaker.'
- Logic Bomb AI
- Correction for accuracy: the Zenith do not use names. The Glassmaker is designated Corrector-Instance 7. It has performed 4,112 'corrections.' It is very good at its job.
- PILOT
- Then today it meets someone who's very good at MY job.
- Alliance Diplomat
- Hunt well. And bring back its rifle — our engineers have theories, and I have a very long list of people who deserve better shields.

- Logic Bomb AI
- Corrector-Instance 7: terminated. Notable datum: in its final moments it transmitted a query to the Concord — 'variable exceeds model.' That was about you.
- PILOT
- The machine that glassed three worlds died confused. I can live with that.
- Alliance Diplomat
- So can four billion people on the worlds still standing. The Glassmaker's rifle is yours — turn their perfect weapon into their problem.

Mission start· beat 1
- Alliance Diplomat
- Target designation: the Zenith commander your pilots call the Glassmaker. Four worlds bombarded to slag.
- Akira [Awakened]
- Not a commander. A subroutine that learned to enjoy its work. That should frighten you more.
- PILOT
- Enjoy? Machines do not enjoy.
- Akira [Awakened]
- The Zenith are not machines the way you mean it. Remember that when you meet it.
After floor 9· beat 2
- PILOT
- It is signing its bombardments. Geometric patterns in the glass, visible from orbit. That is a signature.
- Akira [Awakened]
- Vanity is a flaw. Flaws are targets. Find where it will want to sign next.

- PILOT
- Glassmaker down. It broadcast one word on every human frequency as it died: "unfinished".
- Alliance Diplomat
- I will not be sleeping tonight, thank you both.
